I have always loved the big hearty meal around a big strong dinner table. As it reminds me of dinnertime as a child. I have always looked at the styles of eating meals and I am more of an informal dinner eating type, with large bowls with a big spoon or fork stuck in the contents and everybody helping themselves and passing the bowl or plate along as opposed to the formal setting with various cutlery, candles and fabric napkins etc.
His meals are simple but filling whilst suggesting everyday ingredients and since he has the programme showing how to create meals within 30 minutes, it is a joy to watch.
Jamie Oliver has a beautiful shop by the name of Recipease in Clapham Junction in South London where he sells kitchenware and prepares food on the premises.
I truly love the style of food that Jamie Oliver cooks. It is so homely, wholesome, it's not fussy and it looks delicious.
